Free digital audit
A free digital audit of your club's website
Before anything is bought or built: we go through your club's website the way a supporter does, score it against the same framework we apply to every club, and send back a written report of the fixes that would matter most. It costs nothing, and the report is yours whatever you decide to do next.
It costs nothing
No fee, and no trial to start. We need the club's name and its address on the web โ not access to your systems, and not a meeting first.
You get a written report
A score for each of the six areas, the findings each score rests on, and a list of fixes ordered by what they are worth against what they take.
No obligation
The report is yours to act on with your current supplier, with your own staff, or with us. Nothing in it depends on choosing OneNil.
What we look at
6 areas, each scored on its own criteria and weighted into a single figure out of 100. Every club is measured the same way, which is what makes one score comparable to another.
First impression and usability
What the site says in the first five seconds, whether a supporter can find things without being taught, whether it holds together on a phone, and whether the page labels itself properly โ headings, link text, alternative text.
Match experience
The next fixture, the last result, the table and the squad: whether a supporter can see what is coming, follow what is happening and read what happened, without leaving for someone else's site.
Content and discoverability
News, match reports and the club's own storytelling โ how much there is, how fresh it is, and whether any of it reaches someone searching for the club rather than typing its address.
Mobile app
Whether the club owns a place on the supporter's home screen at all and, if it does, what it is worth: notifications that arrive on time, content that matches the site, a reason to open it on matchday.
Store and commerce
The official store as a supporter meets it: what is on sale, whether the product pages answer the obvious questions, and whether checkout, delivery and returns are clear before any money moves.
Supporter account
One sign-in for the club: membership, saved tickets and orders, notification preferences, and whether the data collected along the way is collected with permission.
How it works
Three steps, and only the first one needs anything from you.
- 1
You tell us the club
Send the club's name and website address through the contact form, or by email. If there is an app or a store, mention those too โ they are scored separately.
- 2
We go through it as a supporter would
Public surfaces only, on a phone and on a desktop, against the fixed framework. Nothing is installed and no credentials change hands.
- 3
You get the report
What is strong, what is broken, and a ranked list of fixes. We will walk you through it if that helps, and leave you to it if it does not.
What is in the report
The same shape every time, so it can be handed straight to whoever is going to act on it.
A score for each area, and one overall figure. Out of 100, weighted, with the arithmetic shown rather than asserted.
Findings with evidence. Each one names the page, the heading or the piece of text it rests on, so nothing has to be taken on trust.
A ranked list of fixes. Split by impact and by effort, so the quick wins come away from the projects.
An honest gap list. Anything the audit could not reach โ a members' area, an app we could not install โ is marked not verified rather than scored zero.
Why we do this for free
Because it is the most honest sales pitch we have. We build websites, stores and apps for clubs, so a club whose match pages are broken is exactly who we would like to talk to โ but the report is written to be useful on its own, and most of what it lists can be fixed by whoever already maintains the site. We would rather be the supplier a club picks after seeing clearly where it stands than the one it signs with before.
Ask for your club's audit
One message with the club's name and website address is enough to start.
An audit is a snapshot of a live website on the day it is reviewed, judged on what is publicly reachable. It is not a security test, a legal review or an accessibility certification, and it claims nothing about what sits behind a login we were not given.
